KNOWLEDGE OF THE QUR'AN
All that we have learned so far shows us one fact for sure: the Qur'an is a book that contains all of which proved to be true news. Scientific facts and news about future events, which could not have known of the period, expressed in the verses. It is impossible this was known by the mastery of science and technology era. This is clear evidence that the Qur'an is not the word of men.
The Qur'an is the word of God Almighty, Creator of all things from nothing. He is the Lord that His knowledge encompasses all things. In one verse, Allah states in the Qur'an is "Do they not consider the Qur'an? When would the Qur'an was not from Allah, they would have got a lot of contradictions in it." (Qur'an, 4:82) Not only is this book free of all contradictions, but every piece of information contained in the Qur'an the holy books reveal the wonders of this day after day.
What is the duty of man is to hold fast to the scriptures that God revealed it, and accept it as the sole guide of life. In one verse, God calls us:
"And the Quran is a book which We send down blessed, so follow it and fear that you have been given grace." (Qur'an, 6:155)
In some of his other verses, Allah affirmed:
"And say:" Truth is from your Lord, so whoever wants to (believe) let him believe, and whoever wants to (pagan) let him disbelieve. "(Qur'an, 18:29)
"By no means (so)! Indeed the teachings of God is a warning, then whoever is willing, he would have noticed." (Qur'an, 80:11-12)

Byzantine victory
Other news snippets delivered the Qur'an about future events found in the first paragraph Surat ar Rum, which refers to the Byzantine Empire, the eastern Roman Empire. In these verses, it is stated that the Byzantine Empire had suffered a major defeat, but will soon gain victory.
"Alif, Lam, Mim. Romans have been defeated, in the nearest country and they are after the defeat they will win, in recent years (again). For Allah affairs before and after (they won)." (Qur'an, 30:1-4)
These verses were revealed about the year 620 AD, almost seven years after the great defeat of Christian Byzantium at the hands of the Persians, when the Byzantines lost Jerusalem. Then narrated in these verses that Byzantium in the near future wins. In fact, Byzantium had then suffered the defeat of so much that seemed impossible for him to maintain his existence, let alone win again. Not only the Persians, but also Avars, Slavs, and Lombards became a serious threat to the Byzantine Empire. Avars had come to reach the boundary walls of Constantinople. Byzantine emperor, Heraclius, had ordered the gold and silver in the church is melted and used the money to finance the army. Many governors revolted against Emperor Heraclius and the Empire and is located at the point of collapse. Mesopotamia, Cilicia, Syria, Palestine, Egypt and Armenia, which was originally ruled by the Byzantines, invaded by the Persians. (Warren Treadgold, A History of the Byzantine State and Society, Stanford University Press, 1997, s. 287-299.)
In short, everyone thought the Byzantine Empire will collapse. But right at that moment, the first verses revealed Surat Ar Rum and announcing that Byzantium would triumph in a few + years. This victory seemed so impossible that the Arab idolaters make this paragraph as the object of derision. They believe that victory is proclaimed the Qur'an would never come true.
Approximately seven years after the revelation of Surat Ar Rum first paragraph is, in December 627 AD, the decisive war between the Byzantine Empire and Persia in Nineveh. And this time, the Byzantine army unexpectedly defeated the Persians. A few months later, the Persians had to make an agreement with Byzantium, which obliged them to return the territory they took from the Byzantines. (Warren Treadgold, A History of the Byzantine State and Society, Stanford University Press, 1997, s. 287-299.)
Finally, the "victory of the Romans" announced by God in the Qur'an, miraculously came true.
Another miracle revealed in these verses is the announcement of a geographical fact that could not be found by anyone at that time.
In the third paragraph Surat Ar Rum, it was reported that the Romans had been defeated in the lowest area on earth. The phrase "Adnal Ardli" in Arabic, is defined as "a nearby place" in many translations. But this is not the literal meaning of the sentence, but more of an interpretation of it. The word "Adna" in Arabic derived from the word "Dani", meaning "low" and "Ardl" which means "earth". Therefore, the expression "Adnal Ardli" means "the lowest place on earth".
The most interesting, important stages in the battle between the Byzantine Empire and Persia, when the Byzantines were defeated and lost Jerusalem, actually occurred at the lowest point on earth. This meant that the region is the Dead Sea basin, which lies at the meeting point of the territory held by Syria, Palestine and Jordan. "Dead Sea", located 395 meters below sea level, is the lowest area on earth.
This means that the Byzantines were defeated in the lowest part of the earth, exactly as stated in this paragraph.
The most interesting fact is that the height of the Dead Sea could only be measured with modern measurement techniques. Previously, it was impossible for anyone to knows that this is the lowest region on Earth's surface. However, in the Qur'an, the area was declared as the lowest point on earth. Thus, this provides further evidence that the Qur'an is divine revelation.

Information Regarding Future Events in the Qur'an
Side of the other wonders of the Qur'an is that he preached the first number of events that will occur in the future. Verse 27 of Surat al-Fath, for example, give glad tidings to those who believe that they would conquer Mecca, which was controlled by the heathen:
"Verily Allah will prove to the Prophet about the truth of his dream with the actual (ie) that ye surely will enter the Haram, if Allah wills in a safe state, with a shaved head and cut it out, you're not afraid. So God knows what ye know, and he gave before that victory is near. "(Qur'an, 48:27)
When we look more closely, the verse is seen to announce the existence of another victory that will happen before the victory of Mecca. Indeed, as stated in the verse, the believers first conquered the fortress of Khaibar, which was under Jewish control, and then entered Mecca.
Reporting about events that will occur in the future is just one of the many lessons contained in the Qur'an. It is also a proof of the fact that the Qur'an is the word of God, the knowledge of His infinite. The defeat of Byzantium is one of the news about future events, which are also accompanied by other information that could not have known by the public at that time. The most interesting thing about this historic event, to be examined further in the following pages, is that the Roman armies were defeated in the lowest region on earth. This is interesting because the "lowest point" referred to specifically in the paragraph that contains this story. With the technology that existed at that time, it was impossible to be able to perform measurements and determination of the lowest point on Earth's surface. This is the news of God revealed to mankind, He is the Knower.
Human Identification marks on Fingerprints
Everyone, including those who are born identical twin, has a distinctive fingerprint pattern for their respective, and different from each other. In other words, human identification mark printed on their fingertips. This coding system can be equated with a system of lines of code (barcode) as used today. |
"Does man think that We will not collect (back) bones? Yes, We are even able to put together (again) ends his fingers perfectly." (Qur'an, 75:3-4)
The emphasis on fingerprints has a very special meaning. This is because everyone's fingerprint is unique to itself. Everyone who lives or ever lived in this world has a unique set of fingerprints and different from others.
That is why fingerprints are used as an identity card which is very important for their owners and are used for this purpose worldwide.
However, the important thing is that the uniqueness of fingerprints was only discovered at the end of the 19th century. Previously, people appreciate fingerprints as ordinary curves without any special meaning. But in the Qur'an, Allah refers to fingerprints, which did not attract the slightest attention to that time, and directs our attention to the importance of fingerprints, the new can be understood today.
Mother's Milk
Breast milk is a mixture of God's creation is incredible and unmatched as a source of best food for newborns, and as a substance that increases the body immunity against diseases. Even baby food made with today's technology could not replace the source of this amazing food.
Every day found a new use for breast milk for infants. One of the facts found knowledge about breastfeeding is that breastfeeding a baby for two years after the birth was very helpful. (Rex D. Russell, Design in Infant Nutrition, http:// www. Icr.org/pubs/imp-259.htm)
God tells us this important information about 14 centuries ago, which is known only through science recently, in his verse "... his weaning in two years ...".
"And We have enjoined on man (do good) to his two mother-father; his mother had conceived him in a weakened state that increase steadily, and weaning in two years. Be grateful to Me and to the parents, father, only to your return unto me." (Qur'an, 31:14)
Three Stages Baby In Uterus
In verse 6 letters Az-Zumar, stated that man was created in the mother's womb in three darkness. Modern embryology has revealed that development occurs in infants ebriologi three different regions in the mother's womb. |
"... He made you in your mother's belly three events have in the darkness. What (do) Such is Allah, your Lord, God has a kingdom. There is no God (the right to be worshiped) but Him, then how you can be deluded ? " (Qur'an, 39:6)
As will be understood, in this paragraph is shown that a human being is created in the mother's body in three different stages. Indeed, modern biology has revealed that the baby's embryological development occurs in three different places in the mother's womb. Now, in every textbook of embryology are used in various schools of medicine, this subject is taken as the knowledge base. For instance in Basic Human Embryology, a fundamental reference in the field of embryology, this fact is stated as follows:
"Life in the uterus has three stages: pre-embryonic; first two and a half weeks, embryonic; until the end of week eight, and the fetus, from the eighth week until birth." (Williams P., Basic Human Embryology, 3. Edition, 1984, s. 64.)
These phases refer to the different stages of the development of a baby. In summary, the characteristics of developmental stages of babies in the womb is as follows:
- Pre-embryonic stage
In the first stage, the zygote grows larger through cell division, and formed a cell segumpalan then immerse themselves in the uterine wall. As growth in the growing zygote, their constituent cells also arrange themselves to form three layers.
- Embryonic stage
This second stage lasts for five and a half weeks. At this time the baby is referred to as "embryo". At this stage, organs and body systems start to appear from the cell layers.
- Phase fetus
Starting from this stage onwards, the baby is referred to as "fetus". This stage started and ended the eighth month of pregnancy until the birth. The special feature of this stage is that the fetus looks like a human being, with the face, hands and feet. Although initially has a length of 3 cm, all of his organs have been visible. This stage lasts for approximately 30 weeks, and development continues until the week of birth.
Information on developments in the mother's womb, just after a series of observations obtained by using modern equipment. However, as many other scientific facts, the information is conveyed in the verses of the Qur'an in a miraculous way. The fact that information is so detailed and accurate information given in the Qur'an when people had scarce information on medical matters is clear evidence that the Qur'an is not a human word but the word of God.
Bones by muscle wrapping
Developmental stages in the mother's womb babies exposed in the Qur'an. As represented described in verse 14 of Surat al Mu'minuun, cartilage tissue in the embryo in the womb of the mother initially harden and become bone hard. Then the bones are encased by muscle cells. God describes this development in the verse: "... and We made a lump of flesh bones, then We wrap the bones with flesh". |
"Then We made the semen of a blood clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, and We made a lump of flesh bones, then bones it We wrap the meat. Then We made him a creature (form) else. So be to God Almighty, Creator of The Most Good "(Qur'an, 23:14)
Embryology is the branch of science that studies the development of the embryo in the mother's womb. Until recently, experts thought that the embryology of bone and muscle in the embryo are formed simultaneously. Therefore, since a long time many people who claim that this verse is contradicted by science. However, advanced research with the microscope that is done by using new technological developments has revealed that a correct statement of the Qur'an is word for word.
Research at the microscopic level shows that the development in the womb occurs in a way exactly as described in the verse. First, the cartilage tissue of the embryo starts to harden. Then the muscle cells are selected from the tissue around the bones together and wrap these bones.
This event is described in a scientific publications with the following sentence:
In the seventh week, order began to spread throughout the body and bones to achieve the shape we know. At the end of the seventh week and during the eighth week, the muscles around his position in bone formation. (Moore, Developing Human, 6. Edition, 1998.)
In short, the stages of human creation as described in the Qur'an, strictly in accordance with the invention of modern embryology.
Blood Fitted lump in Uterus
When the sperm of men joined the woman's egg, the essence of the baby to be born is formed. Single cell known as the "zygote" in biology will soon multiply by dividing and eventually become a "piece of meat". Of course this can only be seen by humans with the aid of a microscope.
However, do not miss the zygote stage of growth for granted. He was attached to the uterine wall as a solid roots embedded in the earth with branches. Through these relationships, the zygote capable of getting important substances from the body of the mother for its growth. (Moore, Keith L., E. Marshall Johnson, TVN Persaud, Gerald C. Goeringer, Abdul-Majeed A. Zindani, and Mustafa A. Ahmed, 1992, Human Development as described in the Qur'an and Sunnah, Makkah, Commission on Scientific Signs of the Qur'an and Sunnah, s. 36)
Here, in this section, one important miracle of the Qur'an was revealed. When referring to the growing embryo in the mother's womb, God uses the word "'alaq" in the Qur'an:
"Read the (call) the name of your Lord, the Creator, He created man from 'alaq (blood clot). Read, and thy Lord is the Most Gracious." (Qur'an, 96:1-3)
Meaning of the word "'alaq" in Arabic is "something that sticks in one place". The word is literally used to describe leeches that cling to the body to suck blood.
Surely not a coincidence that such an appropriate word to use for the growing embryo in the mother's womb. This once again proves that the Qur'an is a revelation from God, the Lord of Hosts.
