When the sperm of men joined the woman's egg, the essence of the baby to be born is formed. Single cell known as the "zygote" in biology will soon multiply by dividing and eventually become a "piece of meat". Of course this can only be seen by humans with the aid of a microscope.
However, do not miss the zygote stage of growth for granted. He was attached to the uterine wall as a solid roots embedded in the earth with branches. Through these relationships, the zygote capable of getting important substances from the body of the mother for its growth. (Moore, Keith L., E. Marshall Johnson, TVN Persaud, Gerald C. Goeringer, Abdul-Majeed A. Zindani, and Mustafa A. Ahmed, 1992, Human Development as described in the Qur'an and Sunnah, Makkah, Commission on Scientific Signs of the Qur'an and Sunnah, s. 36)
Here, in this section, one important miracle of the Qur'an was revealed. When referring to the growing embryo in the mother's womb, God uses the word "'alaq" in the Qur'an:
"Read the (call) the name of your Lord, the Creator, He created man from 'alaq (blood clot). Read, and thy Lord is the Most Gracious." (Qur'an, 96:1-3)
Meaning of the word "'alaq" in Arabic is "something that sticks in one place". The word is literally used to describe leeches that cling to the body to suck blood.
Surely not a coincidence that such an appropriate word to use for the growing embryo in the mother's womb. This once again proves that the Qur'an is a revelation from God, the Lord of Hosts.
