Side of the other wonders of the Qur'an is that he preached the first number of events that will occur in the future. Verse 27 of Surat al-Fath, for example, give glad tidings to those who believe that they would conquer Mecca, which was controlled by the heathen:
"Verily Allah will prove to the Prophet about the truth of his dream with the actual (ie) that ye surely will enter the Haram, if Allah wills in a safe state, with a shaved head and cut it out, you're not afraid. So God knows what ye know, and he gave before that victory is near. "(Qur'an, 48:27)
When we look more closely, the verse is seen to announce the existence of another victory that will happen before the victory of Mecca. Indeed, as stated in the verse, the believers first conquered the fortress of Khaibar, which was under Jewish control, and then entered Mecca.
Reporting about events that will occur in the future is just one of the many lessons contained in the Qur'an. It is also a proof of the fact that the Qur'an is the word of God, the knowledge of His infinite. The defeat of Byzantium is one of the news about future events, which are also accompanied by other information that could not have known by the public at that time. The most interesting thing about this historic event, to be examined further in the following pages, is that the Roman armies were defeated in the lowest region on earth. This is interesting because the "lowest point" referred to specifically in the paragraph that contains this story. With the technology that existed at that time, it was impossible to be able to perform measurements and determination of the lowest point on Earth's surface. This is the news of God revealed to mankind, He is the Knower.
