Everyone, including those who are born identical twin, has a distinctive fingerprint pattern for their respective, and different from each other. In other words, human identification mark printed on their fingertips. This coding system can be equated with a system of lines of code (barcode) as used today. |
"Does man think that We will not collect (back) bones? Yes, We are even able to put together (again) ends his fingers perfectly." (Qur'an, 75:3-4)
The emphasis on fingerprints has a very special meaning. This is because everyone's fingerprint is unique to itself. Everyone who lives or ever lived in this world has a unique set of fingerprints and different from others.
That is why fingerprints are used as an identity card which is very important for their owners and are used for this purpose worldwide.
However, the important thing is that the uniqueness of fingerprints was only discovered at the end of the 19th century. Previously, people appreciate fingerprints as ordinary curves without any special meaning. But in the Qur'an, Allah refers to fingerprints, which did not attract the slightest attention to that time, and directs our attention to the importance of fingerprints, the new can be understood today.
